Focus on What Counts.
Having a facilitator allows participants and
leaders to focus on the content of the meet-
ing and not worry about the logistics of run-
ning the meeting. Having a faciliator also
helps when contentious issues arise, the
group is at an impasse, participants are not
participative... or are too participative. Whe-
ther the meeting is 1 hour or 3 days, face to
face or via conference call, a facilitator is a
must-have for any important meeting.
